


YOUTH HUNT:
2025 - 2026
Fort Campbell will host two (2) youth hunting events for the 2025 - 2026 season. Youth hunt activities require validation and registration prior to participation in the event. Youth hunts are conducted with support from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
VALIDATION REQUIREMENTS:
Prior to registration all participants and sponsoring adults must submit the following documents for account validation. Account validation is an annual requirement to hunt on Fort Campbell. Youth participants must be 9-17 years of age on the day of the hunt to be eligible to participate.
- Validated TN or KY Hunting License for ages 13 to 17 years old
- State Hunter’s Education Certification
Spring Youth Turkey Hunt:

Online Registration begins - 28 February - 31 March 2025
To register for the 2025 Spring Youth Turkey Hunt, please click the link 2025 Spring Youth Turkey Hunt This link will take you to Microsoft Forms. once you have submitted your form, FTCFW staff will verify that the Youth & Adult/Companion have completed all validation requirements in iSportsman to include purchase of appropriate Fort Campbell permits. Once verified, youth will be added to our tentative participation list.
Turkey Hunt Details:
- One (1) validated adult per one (1) validated youth.
- All firearms are to be registered through the Fort Campbell Department of Emergency Services.
- Hunters Safety Education:
- Youth - ages 9-12 requires Hunter's Education & TWRA number (if resides in TN).
- Youth - ages 12-17 requires Hunter's Education & TN or KY Hunting License.
- Youth are allowed to harvest one (1) bearded turkey.
- Turkey harvested by youth during the Youth Turkey Hunt does not count towards their Fort Campbell season bag limit.
- Youth Hunt check-in station: All harvested turkey must be checked-in with Fort Campbell Fish and Wildlife. Official check-in will be conducted at Lake Kyle.
- Hunting hours: hunting is permitted from 30 minutes prior to sunrise until sunset. All harvested turkeys must be checked-out at the conclusion of hunting.
- Fort Campbell Youth Turkey Hunt capacity is 50 participants. Slots are reserved for customer types by the following percentage: 55% Active-Duty, 30% DoD/DAV and 15% Civilian. Unfilled slots will be filled by customers of the next customer group until all slots are filled.
Note: Successful completion of validation requirements and registration process is not a guarantee to hunt. Priority will be given to Active-Duty participants.

Deer Hunt Details:
- One (1) validated adult per one (1) validated youth
- All firearms are to be registered through Fort Campbell:
- Youth – ages 9-12 requires Hunter’s Education & TWRA Number (if resides in TN).
- Youth – ages 12-17 requires Hunter’s Education & TN or KY Hunting License.
- Harvest "Antler restrictions do not apply for youth hunters participating in the Youth Deer Hunt "
- Youth & adult/companion must wear a minimum of 500 square inches of blaze orange on their head and the upper portion of their body at all times while hunting.
- Deer harvested by youth as part of the Youth Deer Hunt are bonus deer and do not count towards their Fort Campbell season bag limit.
- Hunting Hours: hunting is permitted from 30 minutes prior to sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset. All harvested deer must be checked-in with the Fort Campbell Fish and Wildlife. Official check-in will be conducted at Lake Kyle.
- Fort Campbell Youth Deer Hunt capacity is 200 participants. Slots are reserved for customer types by the following percentage: of 55% Active Duty, 30% DoD/DAV and 15% Civilian. Unfilled slots will be filled by customers of the next customer group until all slots are filled.
