FIREWOOD COLLECTION/CHRISTMAS TREES
BACKGROUND:
The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) has overall responsibility for the management of forest resources. Including firewood & dead/downwood in accordance with AR200-1. The Forestry Section will serve as the collection agent for the recording and sale of firewood permits.
ELIGIBILITY:
All active-duty, retired military, Department of the Army civilian employees, and the general public are eligible to obtain firewood permits & forest product permits and contracts. The permit must accompany the firewood/deadwood upon removal from the installation. The permit shall be shown to USFWS officers, military police, DPW forestry personnel, and other proper authorities upon request.

Firewood shall be obtained only from areas open to firewood collection in iSportsman. For the safety reasons and to avoid conflicts with other resource users, firewood collection areas must be coordinated with training operations, and hunting and fishing activities.
FIREWOOD COLLECTION IS PROHIBITED IN ALL IMPACT AREAS
OFF-LIMITS AREAS:
The following areas within the Fort Campbell Military Reservation area off-limits for firewood/deadwood cutting.
LIABILITY:
The U.S Government is not responsible for any damage or injury to persons or property incurred as a result of the cutting, loading, or removing of firewood/deadwood from Fort Campbell. All participants must sign a Release in Full and Indemnity Agreement, when created an iSportsman account. Release must be signed by the permittee before issued the permit.
